It is extremely important to book your hotel room early. Even if you end up needing to cancel\, we recommend reserving a room as soon as possible.\nNASUCA will not be providing a hotel block for the Annual Meeting as it is held at the NARUC hotel. However\, the TURN Office has been kind enough to put together a list of recommend hotels that are close to the Marriott. \n  \n  \n  \n  \nSan Francisco Hotels\nThese hotels are all within walking distance of the NARUC hotel\, the Marriott Marquis\, located at 4th St. Most of the recommended hotels are located near Union Square\, with a couple closer to the Ferry Building with easy access to the Marriot on public transportation. They all have Internet access. They are categorized as larger hotels and boutique hotels. The boutique hotels may have only a few rooms available. The goal was to find hotels with rooms at $150 or less (tough in SF) or at most in the vicinity of $200. \nLarger Hotels \nHotel Palomar\n12 Fourth Street San Francisco\, CA 94103 \nRight across the street from NARUC. Very nice hotel. Advance booking/non-refundable rate $212/refundable $269.\nReservations: (866) 373-4941\nHotel Palomar San Francisco \nParc 55\n55 Cyril Magnin St.San Francisco\,CA 94102 \nA short walk to NARUC.\nAdvance Purchase Rates: $187\nReservations: 800.595.0507\nBoutique Hotels \nHotel Fusion\n140 Ellis St\, (Corner of Cyril Magnin) \nVery close to NARUC. Small\, comfortable rooms. Inexpensive. Government rate starts at $134. AARP and AAA discounts available @ $137. Free WiFI. Twin rooms are small\, if you need to work ask about a desk. Reservations can be booked on-line.\nOrchard Hotel\n665 Bush St\nSan Francisco\, CA\nNon-Refundable $206/Refundable $229\nThe Orchard Hotel \nOrchard Garden Hotel\n466 Bush Street\nNon-refundable rate $200/Refundable $221.50 (Includes free HS Internet) AAA rate available. \nReservations: Email: reservations@theorchardgardenhotel.com\nToll Free: 1-888-820-6150 \nHotel Beresford\n635 Sutter St.\nQuaint hotel in the theater district.\, two blocks from Union Square. A little funky (e.g.\, older bath facilities and refrigerators in the rooms). A fun place to stay. Like traveling in Europe. Inexpensive. Rates from $129/Government rate $134. Only drawback\, Internet access is sketchy. \nReservations: 1-800-533-6533 \nHotel Triton\n342 Grant Avenue \nThis looks like a really fun place. A Kimpton artsy hotel. Seven Blocks from NARUC (the farthest of the suggested hotel options). Rates range from $159 (with 60 day advance purchase) to $199. They offer a gov. rate but show no rooms at that rate for our dates. \nReservations: (800) 800-1299 \nHotel Union Square\n114 Powell Street \nRates from $134-$172. Very close to NARUC.\nReservations 1 800 553 1900\nHotel Union Square\n***They did not recommend the Mosser\, which is across the street from Marriott\, because the rooms are not great (very small\, hard to work). \n  \n  \n  \n
