Electricity Committee

The NASUCA Electricity Committee discusses current issues affecting residential electric consumers. The committee seeks to develop a national consensus on policy matters, proposes resolutions for adoption by NASUCA and provides opportunities for members to share information and discuss new policy issues arising in the states and various regions of the country. Recent NASUCA resolutions emerging from the electricity committee include resolutions addressing the nature of default service in restructured states, market power and market monitoring and Regional Transmission Organizations.

The Electricity Committee Meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 1pm. The 2011 Meeting Schedule is below

1/18, 2/15, 3/15, 4/19, 5/17, 6/21, 7/19, 8/16, 9/20, 10/18, 11/15, 12/20.
