The NASUCA Consumer Protection Committee addresses electric, gas and telephone consumer education and consumer protection issues. Some of the topics addressed include the following: privacy, service quality, market abuses such as, slamming and cramming, service abandonment, low-income energy and telephone assistance, deposit and disconnection policies.
